To get you ready for Thanksgiving, I experimented with another recipe. I kept this cranberry sauce simple, but it turned out pretty spectacular!

Ingredients
- 6 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 1 tsp salt

Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in large sauce pan.
- Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat and simmer 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cranberries have broken down and sauce has thickened.
- Serve warm or cold. Leftovers freeze well!
I’m going to be really honest with you….this was my first time making or even TRYING cranberry sauce. I just thought cranberry sauce meant the stuff you slop out of a can and I blew my own mind with this one. It’s good, but take that for what it’s worth – I really don’t know any different. 🙂
